Monoséme, polyséme

Il existe peu de mots monosémiques en toutes les langues que je connais. Il  appartiennent généralement au vocabulaire scientifique ou technique. La plupart des mots sont polysémiques. C’est comme ça en langues non européennes ? Asiatiques ? Africains ?

Loading applications to Nook Tablet

I assume that you have the app-menu package installed and “unknown sources” enabled.

  1. Email yourself the .apk file
  2. Go to webmail and download the application.
  3. Click “package install”. In my experience, this does not always work the first time. If errors – keep trying. Wait a while to make sure the file is indeed downloaded.
  4. OK – the apk is installed but you will not see it in “APP” menu anywhere. You need to search for it.
  5. Press the N button under the screen. Select “search”.
  6. For the “app-menu” look for “AppMenu”
  7. The other app – look for “know”

  4. It will be downloaded. Look at the lower left corner of the screen.

  7. You are now in the hidden menu!!!
  8. In my experience – I had to keep the wi-fi switched on till the app-menu.apk was installed.

Nook Tablet downgrade to version 1.4.0

  1.  Get acclaim-update.zip (find it here: http://goo-inside.me/roms/TeamKomin/nooktablet/acclaim_update.zip).
  2. Copy it to a micro-SD card.
  3. Insert the card in the Nook Tablet.
  4. Make sure that wi-fi is turned on.
  5. Go to settings -> device Info -> Erase & Deregister Device
  6. Click the Deregister… button.
  7. Sit back and enjoy.

Once the magic happen, you will be in version 1.4.0 (verify this in settings -> device info -> about your NOOK).

Now – turn off the wi-fi. If you leave it on, the Nook will update itself to version 1.4.1 within 20 minutes or so.

Next – enabling sideloading.
